FROM OCTOBER 28, DEPOSIT FOR PROVISION OF DOMESTIC TRAVEL SERVICES IS VND 20 MILLION
The Government issues the Decision No. 94/2021/ND-CP amending and supplementing Article 14 of the Government’s Decree No. 168/2017/ND-CP dated December 31, 2017 on detailing a number of articles of the Law on Tourism regarding deposits for provision of travel services on October 28, 2021.
Accordingly, the deposits for provision of travel services are reduced as follows: Deposit for provision of domestic travel services is VND 20,000,000 instead of VND 100,000,000 as in applicable regulations; Deposit for provision of travel services for international inbound tourists is VND 50,000,000, instead of VND 250,000,000 as in applicable regulations.
In addition, the deposit for provision of travel services for outbound tourists or provision of travel services for international inbound tourists and outbound tourists is VND 100,000,000 (the deposit in applicable regulations is VND 500,000).
The depositary bank that provides travel services shall be responsible for revoking the deposit certificate for providing travel services granted to the enterprise, granting a new deposit certificate according to the above-mentioned deposit levels and refunding the difference between the deposit levels.
This Decree takes effect on the date of its signing. The above-mentioned deposit levels shall be implemented until the end of December 31, 2023.
