On August 28, 2020, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issues the Circular No. 20/2020/TT-BCT on prescribing the application of import tariff quotas for unmanufactured tobacco and poultry eggs originated from member states of the Eurasian Economic Union in 2020, 2021 and
2022.
Accordingly, to apply the import tariff quota for unmanufactured tobacco and poultry eggs originated from member states of the Eurasian Economic Union under the Vietnam - Eurasian Economic Union Free Trade Agreement.
To be specific: The import tariff quota for poultry eggs in 2020, 2021 and 2022 is 9,724 dozens, 10,210 dozens and 10,721 dozens, respectively; The import tariff quota for unmanufactured tobacco in 03 years (2020, 2021 and 2022) is 500 tons/year.
Noticeably, imports must have certificates of origin (C/O form EAV) provided by competent agencies of state members of the Eurasian Economic Union in accordance with current regulations.
This Circular takes effect from October 15, 2020, to the end of December 31, 2022.
