THE SEVEN-STORY HOUSE DESIGN DOSSIERS MUST BE VERIFIED BEFORE APPLICATION FOR GRANT OF CONSTRUCTION PERMITS
The Government issues the Decree No. 06/2021/ND-CP dated January 26, 2021 on detailing a number of provisions on quality management, construction and maintenance of construction works.
In accordance with this Decree, with regard to households’ or individuals’ separate houses without basement which have a total construction floor area of under 250 m2, or with fewer than three stories, or a height of under 12 meters, the separate house construction owners may organize to design by themselves.
With regard to households’ or individuals’ separate houses with fewer than seven stories or with 01 basement, except for the above cases, the design must be conducted by a fully capable organization or individual in accordance with law provisions.
Attentionally, with regard to households’ or individuals’ separate houses with seven stories or more, or with 02 basements or more, the design dossiers must be verified for construction design in terms of work safety before applying for grant of construction permits. The design and design verification must be conducted by a fully capable organization or individual in accordance with law provisions.
In addition, the construction supervisor shall conduct acceptance test of construction jobs within 24 hours after receiving from the construction contractor a request of acceptance test of construction jobs.
The Decree takes effect from the signing date.
