A trademark to be protected, in the other ways, to be granted Certificate of Trademark Registration, need to be differentiated and not confused with the mark which have been applied for registration at the National Office of Intellectual Property.
Everyone can conduct preliminary search on the published database by NOIP at http://iplib.noip.gov.vn/WebUI/WLogin.php
However, the database only evaluate about 40-45% the registrability of trademark due to lack of update all the new submitted applications, international trademarks enter into Vietnam and other system reasons.
