THE MAXIMUM POSTAGE RATES OF UNIVERSAL POSTAL SERVICES
From December 01, 2018, the maximum postage rates of universal postal services shall be applied in accordance with the Circular No. 12/2018/TT-BTTTT of the Ministry of Information and Communications.
Accordingly, the maximum postage rates (including postcard) of the domestic mail service for the weight range equal to 20g or less; from greater than 20g to 100g; from greater than 100g to 250g is VND 4,000; VND 6,000; VND 8,000, respectively. For each additional weight range from 250g to 2,000g, the maximum rate is VND 2,000.
The maximum postage rates of the outbound mail service from Vietnam to other overseas countries from VND 15,000 to VND 23,000 (for the weight range equal to 20g or less), depends on each country and area…
The Ministry of Information and Communications assigns the Vietnam Post Corporation to:
- Decide on the postage rates of universal postal services and ensure these rates are not higher than the above maximum rates;
- Report to the Ministry of Information and Communications on the postage on universal postal services 30 days prior to official implementation;
- Publicly inform and disclose the postage on universal postal services in accordance with law.
