THE AVERAGE ELECTRICITY SELLING PRICE IS INCREASED TO VND 1.508 PER KWH
This is the Decision of the Ministry of Industry and Trade at the Circular No. 19/2013/TT-BCT promulgating the electricity selling price and guidance on the implementation.
In particular, the average electricity selling price is VND 1508.85 / kWh (excluding value added tax) from August 01, 2013 instead of the previous price of VND 1.437/kWh. Accordingly, the ladder electricity retail price for domestic purposes as follows: From 0 to 100 kWh is 1,418 VND/kWh; From 101 to 150 kWh is 1,622 VND/kWh; From 151 to 200 kWh is 2,044 VND/kWh; From 201 to 300 kWh is 2,210 VND/kWh; From 301 to 400 kWh is 2,361 VND/kWh and From 401 kWh or more is 2,420 VND/kWh. The electricity price for first ladder (0-50 kWh) only applies to the poor and low-income households, with the frequent rate of electricity consumption not exceeding 50kWh/month and registered with the electricity selling party. The poor and low-income households wishing to purchase electricity at the price of the first ladder should register under the guidance of the electricity seller.
This Circular takes effect on August 1, 2013 and replaces Circular No. 38/2012/TT-BCT dated December 20, 2012.
