PROCEEDING TO ORGANIZE TWO LEARNING SESSIONS/DAY FOR GENERAL EDUCATION
This is one of the remarkable contents in the Decree No. 127/2018/ND-CP dated September 21, 2018 of the Government on prescribing state management responsibilities for education.
To be specific, the Government assigns for the provincial-level and district-level People’s Committees to ensure adequate payrolls of education administrators with sufficient numbers of people working under approved working position schemes, meeting conditions to guarantee educational quality, proceeding to organize two learning sessions/day for general education.
The Government also emphasizes that the commune-level People’s Committee chairpersons shall be authorized to permit the establishment, decide on the merger, division and separation, and suspend education activities of, and to dissolve, independent child care groups and kindergartens.
The commune-level People’s Committee chairpersons shall also direct education institutions in their localities to register and mobilize to the utmost people in school-age groups to go to school in order to achieve the universalization of education and eradication of illiteracy, creating conditions for all people to have lifetime education.
This Decree takes effect on November 15, 2018.
