THE COVID-19 EPIDEMIC TERMINATION WILL BE ANNOUNCED IF THERE IS NO NEW INFECTED CASE WITHIN 28 DAYS
The Prime Minister promulgates the Decision No. 07/2020/QD-TTg on amending and supplementing a number of Articles of the Decision No. 02/2016/QD-TTg dated January 28, 2016 of the Prime Minister on conditions for announcement of epidemics and their termination on February 26, 2020.
In accordance with this Decision, to announce the COVID-19 epidemic termination, it must be based on the period of non-detection of a new case of infection. To be specific: The COVID-19 disease is the infectious disease of the group A. The average time of disease incubation of this disease is 14 days. The period of non-detection of a new case of infection of this disease is 28 days, counted from the date when the latest case is isolated at a medical establishment.
This Decision takes effect on the signing date.
