USE OF CERTIFICATES OF FREE SALE OF DRUGS THAT EXPIRE TO DECEMBER 31, 2024

Within that, the Resolution points out the use of certificates of free sale of drugs or drug materials that expire from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2024, as follows:

Certificates of free sale of drugs or drug materials expiring from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2024, which have been submitted by registration agencies for an extension, and those that are entitled to an extension under Clause 5 Article 6 of Resolution No. 12/2021/UBTVQH15, but have not yet been extended timely in accordance with the Law on Pharmacy, shall continue to be used from their expiry dates to the end of December 31, 2024, except for the following cases:

- Drugs and drug materials are recalled in accordance with the law on pharmacy;

- Drugs showing unsafe signs for users are suspended from trading, used and sealed, and preserved in accordance with the law on pharmacy;

- Drugs with a certificate of free sale with a term of 3 years in accordance with the law on pharmacy.

The Ministry of Health shall publicize the list of drugs and drug materials with certificates of free sale that are permitted to continue to be used.

Resolution No. 80/2023/QH15 takes effect on January 09, 2023.
